Operational Volunteers –
All of our operational volunteers work on the ambulance and treat patients. Our crews are always comprised of at least two experienced EMTs and up to two trainees. We have several operational volunteer membership levels, depending on age and experience:
- Junior Members – Anyone joining at age 16 or 17
- Senior Members – Anyone joining age 18 + with or without EMS experience
- Associate Members – Experienced EMTs desiring a lesser time commitment. Must be at least 18 years of age and have at least one year of emergency EMS experience responding to 911 calls as an EMT-B crew chief. See Associate Guidelines for more detailed requirements.
Non-Operational Volunteers –
Our Auxiliary Members support the organization by running PR outreach events, planning events & parties and providing administrative support. They do not work on the ambulance.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer there are several documents that you need to review and/or complete:
Start by reading through the Membership Letter. It explains what we’re about and the process for becoming a volunteer. Then print forms 2 & 3, complete the application and bring them to our next New Member Information Session held the second Thursday of each month at 7pm. If you cannot print these documents we will provide copies at that meeting.
You must attend an Info Session or arrange for an individual session to become a member. Please contact Nick Arico in our office at 732-545-1024 or via our contact us page to set up an alternate time/date.
THESE ARE ACROBAT READER DOCUMENTS. IF YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE FREE READER CLICK HERE.
